(Wilmot, Wis., Monday, July 29, 2024) - Due to heavy rain on Monday morning at Wilmot Raceway, creating sodden land and track surface, World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model and track officials have postponed Monday’s racing program.
The decision was made with the best interests of driver safety and traveling race fans in mind. Series and track officials are looking for a suitable makeup date for the event.
If you purchased a ticket in advance through the World of Outlaws for Monday’s event at Wilmot Raceway, your ticket will be valid for the new date. More information will be available when the new date is announced.
The World of Outlaws turn its focus to Cedar Lake Speedway for the 36th Annual USA Nationals on Thursday-Saturday, August 1-3. The crown jewel event features activities on and off the track and a large payday of $50,000 to Saturday night’s Feature winner.
Next up for Wilmot Raceway is the traditional Family Night Candy Drop for the youngsters on Saturday, August 3, the final scheduled race program prior to the Kenosha County Fair which runs Wednesday, August 14 thru Sunday, August 18 featuring races on August 14 and August 17 along with other fair grandstand events.
On August 3 race program are Lift Pro/Hepfner Racing Products Wings Winged 604 Sprints Series, Wisconsin AutoMeter Powered by Gandrud Performance Wilmot Raceway Catalyst Exhibits WingLESS sprints, IMCA Modifieds and B&L Office Furniture powered by American Tire & Auto Repair of Kenosha and Lindenhurst Bandit 4-cylinder stock cars.
