Jeremy Schultz and the 5J Motorsports Team headed to Wilmot on Saturday night to race the weekly show. 16 cars were on hand with a great crowd to watch. A number 37 pill was drawn and that would put Jeremy starting fourth in the second heat. On the start Jeremy would quickly move into third but a lap one crash by Steven Muth would restack the field. The second place starting car would also go to the work area and Jeremy would find himself moved up to the second starting spot. At the second start Jeremy would race around Todd Daun entering turn one and would not look back.
Jeremy would be high point earner but a pill draw of eight would send Jeremy to the outside of the fourth row to start the feature. Jeremy would start the feature searching for the fast way around the 1/4 mile oval. He would start to move forward and with six to go would find himself second. Behind almost a 1/2 lap Jeremy would need a caution that never came. By the checkered flag He had shrunk the lead to 1/2 a straight-away but ran out of laps.
Jeremy would thank all the fans for coming out on a beautiful night.
