The 2016 season is upon us and the sophomore season of the wingLESS Sprints will have a new look. More cars, more experience, additional sponsorship, and the IRA sanction are all positives that lead the preseason headlines. However the hype ends, and the talking begins on the track this Saturday night, as the Wisconsin wingLESS Sprint Series presented by Meyer/IRA makes its' official debut Saturday night, April 30th, at the series home track of Wilmot Raceway. All of last year's teams are back, and plenty of new teams are preparing, and this second year group is definitely on the upswing, and fans are in for a treat. The GM604 based non-wing sprint car truly performed well in its' inaugural season, but the boys have stepped it up, as car quality combined with a years worth of driving experience will make this division a fan favorite. Drivers from many forms of racing are choosing this new division as melting pot towards the future. We look forward to kicking off the 2016 version of Meyer Wisconsin wingLESS Sprint Series sanctioned by the IRA this Saturday night at Wilmot Raceway. Wilmot is Wisconsin's Sprint Car Capitol, and these wingLESS warriors will not disappoint.
