Both IRA divisions were on hand at Wilmot Raceway this past Saturday Night for Founders Night as IRA celebrated its' 50th Anniversary. 7-time Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series Champion Bill Balog held off the challenges of current point leader Scotty Thiel and a charging Jeremy Schultz to capture the winged 410 portion. In just its' 2nd year, and first under IRA sanction, the Meyer Valves & Vacs wingLESS Sprints by IRA brought out their largest car count to date with 19 machines n the GM604 or Spec Engine based series. Todd Lehr established a new track record for the wingLESS division group qualifying while traveler Jimmy Kouba out-dueled Jordan Mattson and Alan Hafford to claim the win in a very competitive feature event.
