9/4 Sun Prairie, WI Todd "The Jet" Lehr added to his series point lead by capturing the 20 lap Meyer Valves & Vacs / IRA wingLESS Sprint Series event at Angell Park Speedway. The event was co-sanctioned by the UMSS Traditional Sprints. Following a first lap melee which eliminated the five cars of Jordan Mattson, Allen Hafford, George Gaertner, Jeremy Hunt, and Dave Maynard, the race went all green. This was the groups third and final appearance of 2016 at the historic oval.
Lehr scored the win followed by 2015 series champion Doug Schenck, with Jimmy Kouba, Jake Kouba, and Craig Campton rounding out a fleet top five. Johnny Parsons III, Joe Lallier, Derek Crane, Anna Hippe, and Joseph Kouba completed the top ten.
Mattson set fast time over the eighteen car field and also captured the first heat. Schenck and Jake Kouba captured the other heats.
The series continues the Saturday night with an event at Wilmot Raceway.
