Cottage Grove's Doug Schenck scored a clean sweep capturing his second 20-lap wingLESS Sprints feature of the season at Wilmot, winning a 8-lap heat race and posting the fastest qualifying lap of the 23 cars on hand. Schenck took the lead from Nathan Crane of Waukegan, Illinois on lap 13 just prior to a caution for a spin and a red flag on the restart when Craig Campton of Milwaukee, who was running third, spun and flipped on the backstretch. Campton was not injured.
Nick Petska of Spring Grove, Illinois jumped out into the initial lead holding top spot until a yellow on lap seven. N. Crane overtook Petska on the restart down the front straightaway.
At the finish it was Schenck taking his third overall feature win of the season having taken a victory in Minnesota in addition to the Wilmot wins. Career best finishes were turned in by the next two with N. Crane taking second and Rod Colburn of New Berlin third. Bristol's Chris Klemko was fourth. Pointleader Jordan Mattson completed the top five.
