Coming off a festive Knoxville Nationals atmosphere, the IRA is continuing the party with a pair of festive annual events this weekend. This Saturday has the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints, AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints, and the WIMS Mini Sprints competing at the Wilmot Raceway during the Kenosha County Fair. It's the Roger Iles Tribute presented by Carriage Auto Body paying the 410 winged sprints $3600 to win and $360 to start the 24 car 36 lap A-main.
The wingLESS class will be racing for a increased purse as well. Sunday the fun moves to Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, WI for the annual CornFest event, featuring the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints and a co-sanctioned POWRI National Midgets / Bader Midget combo. The Sprint Car FUN is in Wisconsin this weekend, the Kenosha County Fair in Wilmot Saturday, and CornFest in Sun Prairie at Angell Park Sunday. Scotty Thiel leads the red hot Jake Blackhurst by just 10 points in the IRA 410 championship standings with Jeremy Schultz just 81 behind Blackhurst. IRA has a big post Knoxville schedule with plenty of racing to go. It's gonna be a PARTY!
