The Wilmot Raceway proudly announces their 2019 schedule for the third-mile Wisconsin dirt oval located on the Kenosha County Fairgrounds. Not many other tracks have a schedule as diverse and filled with quality specials, including both premier national and regional tours. Of course Wilmot's weekly Saturday night card is unique as well as it is the only track that can call itself the home of the AutoMeter Wisconsin Sprint Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet Performance Parts, and the WIMS Mini Sprints. The wingLESS group which has had the most growth of any sprint car division anywhere in the country will compete at Wilmot 19 times in 2019. Plus Wilmot Raceway has a stellar Modified, Street Stock, and 4 cyl Bandit divisions. Wilmot Raceway opens the 2019 racing season April 27th and concludes its weekly racing on Sept 7th. The only week Wilmot Raceway will sit quiet is that of Aug 10th as the facility preps for the Kenosha County Fair which will have motorsport activities throughout the Fair, Aug 14-18.
Numerous special events fill the schedule beginning May 4th as the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints headline the first of the five appearances. Tony Stewart's Ollies Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions co-sanctions the IRA / All Star Challenge on Friday night May 17th. The IRA winged 410's will also appear June 15th for the Raymond Neeve Memorial, Aug 3rd as a Kenosha County Fair prelude, and highlight their Wilmot Raceway season during the Fair with the annual Roger Iles Tribute event Aug 17th.
The NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series invades Wilmot for the annual Badger 40 on Saturday night July 13th. The UMP Late Model Summer Nationals make their only Wisconsin appearance at Wilmot on Tuesday Night July 2nd. The Wilmot date is part of the popular "Hell Tour" which features the best Late Models in the region battling it out over 30 grueling days in a row. If you're a Late Model fan, you don't want to miss this one!
The 2nd annual Jim "Wildman" Watson Dirt King Late Model event is slated for Saturday night Sept 7th. This is will be 3rd consecutive year the Dirt King Tour has visited Wilmot Raceway, and please note this popular event is one week earlier this year.
And of course the Kenosha County Fair kicks off Wed night Aug14th with UTV/ATV racing, Aug 15th has Ttruck/Tractor Pulls and the unique Combine Demo Derby, Aug 16th will feature 3 divisions of Wilmot Raceway classes plus a soon to be announced "thrilling" addition. Aug 17th feature the IRA Outlaw Sprints plus two more Wilmot classes, and Aug 18th is the big KCF Demo Derby.
