(Wilmot, Wisconsin) The traditional Let’s Go Racing Motorsports Show presented by Babicz Auto Racing Services (BARS) is coming back to a new location Saturday, April 13.
Cars and drivers from Wilmot Raceway on the Kenosha County Fairgrounds will headline the race cars, custom and street rods along the streets and select parking areas of downtown Wilmot. The free show runs 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Main areas include the parking lot at Wilmot Auto Service/BP Convenience Store and across from Hansen Ice Cream Parlor.
Spectators are encouraged to greet the competitors and get a close preseason look at the machines which will be competing during the 2019 campaign.
“We are excited about the return of this sign of the beginning of the area motorsports season,” said Mike Babicz, show promoter and Wilmot Raceway track announcer/marketing director. “The cooperation of everyone from the business owners, the fair staff and Wilmot Raceway crew, as well as the drivers and their race teams, is greatly appreciated.”

Steve Sinclair of Wilmot Raceway has indicated plans for a technical inspection at the show which is required for all cars prior to them hitting the 1/3-mile clay oval for the April 27 planned 2019 season opener.
Weather permitting, a practice may also be held following the show.
Coach Tim Stewart of Wilmot High School is planning some type of soccer exhibition/game in conjunction with the day’s events.
