Update as of May 14th. First and foremost. we hope everyone is doing well. Despite last night's ruling, because Kenosha Co is still considered one of Wisconsin's "hot spots", the county has continued the Governor's original ruling which extends through May 26th. Being a Fairgrounds, we must play by the rules were dealt. Not knowing the crowd we'll be allowed initially has forced the postponement of the originally scheduled Friday May 29th IRA/All Star Sprint Car race. The event will be rescheduled..... So we have drafted a good plan that we will be submitting to the county tomorrow, with hopes it gets approved so we can move forward as soon as the May 26th deadline passes. It's back to work at the track, and we'll get ready for tech/practice(s) as soon as we're allowed, with racing as soon as we can. We're not giving up on May 30th yet. Obviously the schedule is going to change some, and once we know when we can go, and if there are any further restrictions that will be applied to us, such as crowd size or food/beverage, which will dictate the schedule moving forward. We want to race as much as you do. We certainly hope that if we are restricted, it's based on a percentage of capacity, as we are blessed as we do have a large bleacher. So we hope everyone at least sees that there appears to light in the distance, so we're getting back to work, so finish up those cars, and we hope to be on the track soon. We'll update everyone as me learn more. Can't wait!
