Allen Hafford of Beach Park, IL captured the 20-lap AutoMeter/Brewington Electric Wisconsin WingLESS Sprints main. Following a family feud, Genoa City's Nick Simons was joined by his mom, Terry Simons, in victory lane after scoring the initial 20-lap Modified feature win of the 2022 season opener at Wilmot Raceway on Mother's Day Weekend. As the 2022 race season approaches, teams please remember that RaceCeiver style (RE and others make also) radios are mandatory for all drivers competing at Wilmot Raceway, no matter the class. Also Wilmot requests teams own their own Westhold “yellow” transponders. Wilmot has a few transponders available for rent, though they are the team’s responsibility to own and charge and have ready for each event.
