(Wilmot, Wis., Sunday, July 19, 2020)--Sweeps were the order of the night closing out Wilmot Raceway's doubleheader weekend on Sunday, July 19. Hartland's Bill Balog held off a late restart charge from second place Hunter Schuerenberg of Sikeston, MO to win the Bumper to Bumper Interstates Racing Association (IRA) feature. 21 DAYS…. This is not the post anyone of us is wanting to put out, but in the end it’s the right decision for all involved. The 3rd annual Jim “Wildman” Watson Classic is being postponed until Saturday, October 3rd due to the 6 straight days of rain, and more forecasted throughout the night and tomorrow morning. The Kenosha County Fair’s Wilmot Raceway will have a new look to go with their exciting schedule. The third-mile clay oval will have completed a major offseason project when the gates open on opening night May 6th, as new aluminum bleachers will have been installed. The new bleachers were constructed in a manner that has the entire bleacher elevated on risers, and the entire bleacher comes with seat backs. All Bandit drivers and crews: There are a few rule changes for this year. Just to clarify, racing seats are required. Securely mounted with four 3/8” dimeter grade 8 bolts. We are allowing steel racing wheels as long as they are the same offset as the stock wheel and do not alter the track width of the car. All tires must be inside the body lines of the car. Oconomowoc's Ryan Zielski scored a back to back 20-lap CK Contractors/AutoMeter Wisconsin Wingless Sprints feature win in a hotly contested battle Saturday, June 10.
